T-Groups: Relearning Leadership for the Hybrid/ Remote World

About T-Groups

Discover the World of T-Groups

T-Groups, also known as "Training Groups," were first conceived by Austrian Psychoanalyst Kurt Lewin after World War II. These learning laboratories are dedicated to exploring real-time interpersonal dynamics, offering valuable insights and personal and professional growth opportunities.

Inspired by the enduring popularity of Stanford Business School's "Interpersonal Dynamics" class, often affectionately called "Touchy Feely," T-Groups have gained worldwide recognition. These self-organized groups typically consist of 6-12 participants, all engaged in a journey of self-discovery through open communication and guided facilitation.

Why join?

Transform Your Remote Leadership Skills

Your relationships are the bedrock of your personal and professional life. Cultural backgrounds, personality traits, and identity dynamics shape the depth and effectiveness of these relationships. Whether you aspire to be a more effective remote professional or a more connected leader, T-Groups offer a unique opportunity for growth.

In a safe and supportive environment, you'll uncover your blind spots and understand the behavioral patterns that influence your actions, especially in high-stress situations. T-Groups mirror real-world challenges, helping you address resistance points that hinder your development.

What to expect?

Personalized Learning for Remote Leaders.

T-Groups provide highly tailored learning experiences. You'll define your unique learning goals, focusing on areas like authentic emotional expression, spontaneity, navigating conversations about power dynamics, active listening, and embracing challenging topics. Complementing the experience are mini-lectures introducing coaching and organizational behavior concepts.

Want to try it out? -> Emotional Leadership Workshop

The Emotional Leadership Workshop is a short format to expose you and your organization to the T-Group methodology. You will stretch your consciousness and get a hands-on training regarding two specific emotional leadership skills.

About the Trainer:

Christian Wallin:

My name is Christian
Wallin. I fell in love
with T-Groups in 2017. I
work as a manager in
financial technology, love the mountains, am a proud and happy father and engage in personal development since 2011.

My T-Group experience includes the Stanford Business School class in 2017, a Stanford remote T-Group class in 2021 and many hours of self-organized T-Group time, including as a facilitator since 2020. I will be giving the mini-lectures for this seminar and act as the facilitator.
